Stephanie Michalowski

Stephanie started studying dance at the age of 3. She has studied many styles including: ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, & contemporary. Stephanie attended Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Education. She was a member of the Illinois State Dance Theater where she had the privilege of working with many different choreographers. She has many years experience of preforming but her love for dance brought her to teaching. She has experience teaching ages from 18 months to adults. Since graduating she has taught at different dance studios around the area spreading her passion for dance. From there, she has decided to fulfill a life long dream of hers to open her own dance studio. Stephanie's goal is to share her love and passion for dance to all the students who attend her studio.

Lindsay Newmeyer
Zumba Instructor
Lindsay was an active Zumba participant for many years. She one day decided that she would love to teach Zumba!  In 2012 Lindsay became a certified Zumba Instructor, and has since taught at various locations throughout the years. She brings passion for dance in an energetic environment to every class!

Julie Hein
Ballroom Instructor

Although she never intended to be a dancer - or a dance teacher, for that matter - growing up in a “dancing” California community encouraged Julie to jump into the Urban Cowboy craze of the 80’s.

Since then, she has choreographed/taught corporate executives to perform; organized a flash dance performed at a Chicago Bull’s game; guided middle school students to dance at Fortnightly; choreographed wedding dances (bride/groom, father/daughter, mother/son); and taught at Cadillac Ranch (now Lucky Star) for 20+ years. In addition, she founded a dance club (Swing’n’Country) and co-owned several dance conventions. She currently teaches locally in addition to judging and coordinating competitors at dance conventions all over the Midwest.

Julie parlays her MS in Education and 35 years of teaching school into a “you-can-do-it” attitude that allows her dance students to meet their goals. She makes it fun and easy!

She is excited to continue working with students both on a team and in class and enjoys bringing fierce energy and passion to every class.
